The Opportunity Gap for Children Across Contra Costa County
All communities and kids across Contra Costa County have strengths and talents, but opportunities for well-being and long-term success are not equally distributed. This report illustrates that low-income children and children of color in our community are not afforded the same opportunity to succeed as their more affluent peers. The Lesher Foundation looks forward to ongoing, long-term work with our partners in the community to address the opportunity gap in Contra Costa County so that ALL children have the opportunity to thrive and reach their fullest potential.
